Add account to iPhone/iPad

Set up an account to manage email, contacts, and calendar on an iPhone/iPad.

If you need or want to create an IMAP account, see below.

Add account

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Mail.
2. Go to Email Accounts.
3. Click Add Account, enter your email address, and click Next.
4. Select Microsoft Exchange, Next, and Configure manually.
5. Enter your password, then click Next.
   If you encounter problems with verification, it is probably due to an incorrect password.
6. Select what you want to sync and click Save.
7. Done!

Exchange ActiveSync is a technology developed by Microsoft that is used to send information between email clients and your mobile phone.

Delete account

You cannot have the same account/email address added twice, so to add it again you need to remove the existing account first.

1. Go to your phone’s Settings > Apps > Mail > Email Accounts.
2. Click on the account you want to delete and select Delete Account.
3. Done!

Add email account as IMAP

Typically, an account is added as a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account type to sync email, calendar, and contacts. You can add it as IMAP if desired.

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Mail > Email Accounts
2. Select Add account and fill in your email address > Next.
3. Select Add another account… > Email account
4. Enter the server (office.webbplatsen.net) for incoming and outgoing email, as well as your email address and password.
5. Click Next and Save.
6. Done!
