Set up an account to manage email, contacts, and calendar on an iPhone\/iPad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you need or want to create an IMAP account, see below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to Settings<\/em> > Apps<\/em> > Mail<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Go to Email Accounts<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click Add Account<\/em>, enter your email address, and click Next<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Select Microsoft Exchange<\/em>, Next<\/em>, and Configure manually<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Enter your password, then click Next<\/em>.
    If you encounter problems with verification, it is probably due to an incorrect password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Select what you want to sync and click Save<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Done!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Exchange ActiveSync is a technology developed by Microsoft that is used to send information between email clients and your mobile phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you have problems logging in, you can choose to enter your information manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Incoming server: office.webbplatsen.net<\/strong>

    Security type\/authentication: SSL<\/strong>
    Outgoing SMTP server: office.webbplatsen.net<\/strong>
    Smtp-port: 465<\/strong> (alt. 587)

    Delete account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    You cannot have the same account\/email address added twice, so to add it again you need to remove the existing account first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to your phone’s Settings<\/em> > Apps<\/em> > Mail<\/em> > Email Accounts.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click on the account you want to delete and select Delete Account<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Done!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<\/a>\n\n\n\n

      Add email account as IMAP<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Typically, an account is added as a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account type to sync email, calendar, and contacts. You can add it as IMAP if desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to Settings<\/em> > Apps<\/em> > Mail<\/em> > Email Accounts<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Select Add account<\/em> and fill in your email address > Next<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Select Add another account<\/em>\u2026 > Email account<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Enter the server (office.webbplatsen.net) for incoming and outgoing email, as well as your email address and password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Click Next<\/em> and Save<\/em>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      6. Done!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
